Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience (full-stack).

Software Engineer, Senior ( Java Full stack - AI )

Description

We're growing our core engineering team and looking for seasoned Senior Software Engineers to take ownership of building and scaling our platform end to end. You'll design and ship microservices in Java, build clean REST APIs, own front-end features, and increasingly work on agentic AI capabilities that connect large language models to our enterprise systems.

This is a hands-on full-stack role for someone with strong engineering fundamentals who already builds with modern AI tooling and is curious about where it's headed. We value engineering depth and learning speed over years spent on any single emerging protocol.

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices and RESTful APIs
• Build responsive front-end features and own them alongside the backend
• Develop agentic AI features, including RAG pipelines and MCP-based integrations that let LLMs securely interact with our data, tools, and services
• Apply prompt engineering techniques (few-shot, one-shot, chain-of-thought) as part of day-to-day development
• Make pragmatic architecture and design decisions, weighing trade-offs around scale, cost, and maintainability
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate actively in code reviews
• Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to turn requirements into working software
• Help set engineering standards and mentor other developers where it adds value

Basic Qualifications:

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience (full-stack)
• Strong proficiency in Java and hands-on experience designing and building microservices architectures (Spring Boot or equivalent)
• Solid track record of building RESTful API endpoints that are clean, secure, and maintainable
• Front-end experience with Angular or React able to build clean, responsive UIs
• Experience building RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) applications or pipelines
• Strong working knowledge of prompt engineering few-shot, one-shot, and chain-of-thought used on a day-to-day basis
• Solid mental model of how LLMs behave (considered baseline for senior engineers today)
• Comfortable with vibe coding and AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot), paired with strong underlying technical judgment
• Strong grasp of relational and/or NoSQL databases and data modeling
• Comfortable working in Agile teams and delivery processes

Preferred Qualifications:

• Python for AI agent logic, MCP server/client development, and custom integrations
• DevOps / cloud experience deploying applications to production using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
• Hands-on with AWS and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with agent frameworks and orchestration (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar)
• Exposure to LLM SDKs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Azure OpenAI)
• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, pgvector, ChromaDB)
• Prior experience in a technical lead or mentorship role
