Job summary

Entri Jobs is seeking an experienced Site/Project Engineer to oversee civil construction or interior fit-out projects in Chennai. You will manage day-to-day site activities, coordinate with contractors, ensure safety, quality, and timely completion, and report progress to the Project Manager.

We require 2-5 years of site execution experience, a Civil Engineering degree or diploma, strong reading of blueprints, and proficient use of MS Office and PM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2-5 years of site execution or project management experience in civil construction or interior fit-out.
• Strong technical knowledge in construction techniques and materials.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site activities to ensure timely completion of project tasks.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams for seamless project execution.
• Ensure adherence to project plans, schedules, and quality standards.
• Supervise construction work at the site and monitor progress.
• Manage resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, efficiently.
• Identify potential delays or issues and report them to the Project Manager for timely resolution.
• Conduct toolbox talks and enforce site safety regulations among workers.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders for approvals and updates.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports as required.
• Maintain accurate records of material usage, labor attendance, and other site data.
