Job summary

ACG is seeking a Project Engineer with 7-10 years of experience in the Manufacturing/Capital Equipment sector. The role focuses on end-to-end project handling, engaging with customers and internal teams to ensure orders are executed with compliance and on schedule.

You will coordinate with Sales, Finance, Operations, and vendors to manage scope, profitability, and post-order activities, driving successful sign-offs and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical is required.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience in Project Management/Technical Sales Support.
• Excellent Communication & interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end project management from order booking to dispatch.
• Input orders and ensure 100% executable First Time Right orders.
• Coordinate with Customer/TIC, Finance, and Commercial for profitability and compliance.
• Conduct CRM meetings in coordination with Operations and ensure ISO audit conformance.
• Pre-order activities include URS compliance, techno-commercial offers, and sign-off with customers.
• Post-order activities include documentation sign-off and FAT/CFAT coordination.

Job description

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for handling end-to-end projects & inquiries once the order booking is done. Managing internal and external stakeholders, resolving technical queries pre and post-order booking.

A. Primary responsibilities

• Interactions with Customer/TIC for Order Booking
• Closely working with Finance & Commercial for Profitability and Collectibles
• To input orders which are 100% executable by logging First Time Right Sales Order
• New Order technical understanding and agreement with customer on Scope & compliances
• Conduct CRM meeting in close coordination with Operations
• Technical compliance & customer clearance on IFAT/CFAT to dispatch the order in full Adherence to Business Rule Compliances & ISO audit conformities.

Pre Order

• URS Compliance & Techno-Commercial Offer for Orders under Market Platform
• Technical Interactions to understand the requirements with Customers.
• Room Layout & Product drawing sign off with Customers
• Final Quotation submission considering Final Pricing as per Scope Profitability
• Approval from Finance as per scope
• Order details handover to Sales Support Customer Coordinator for Commercial Procedures
• Conduct CRM and effectively communicate the scope to have a sign-off with Operations SAP

Sales Order Release & ensuring CP is done.

Post - Order

• Documentation sign-off with customers 1 month before IFAT/CFAT
• Follow Up with Operations for FAT & Dispatches as per commitment given to Customer
• Customer FAT technical clearance on the agreed scope for immediate dispatch.
• Technical Order know-how & learnings to be captured and hand over to After Market Collaborating with After Market to have I&C Customer Sign off.
• End-to-End Project Management.
