Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in India is seeking a role to own the overall customer relationship from an operations and manufacturing perspective and to lead product transfer and production localization.

You will develop, monitor, and drive project timelines, manage demand forecasting and ramp-up plans, plan capacity, coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure material readiness, and support on-time shipments and investments.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall customer relationship from an operations and manufacturing perspective.
• Lead product transfer activities (Factory Transfer / Site Transfer) and production localization.
• Develop, monitor, and drive project timelines, milestones, and on-time execution.
• Manage customer demand, forecasting, and production ramp-up plans.
• Plan manufacturing capacity, resources, and factory readiness to meet business requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Planning, Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, Logistics, and Customer Service.
• Ensure material availability and supply chain readiness to support production schedules.
• Drive manufacturing readiness, infrastructure readiness, and operational launch activities.
• Manage customer delivery commitments and ensure on-time shipment performance.
• Plan and coordinate CAPEX requirements, approvals, and manufacturing investments.
• Monitor project budgets, operational costs, and resource utilization.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure business continuity.
• Implement NPI security requirements and maintain customer IP confidentiality.
• Ensure controlled access, confidential build management, and compliance with customer security policies.
• Lead cross-functional communication, governance reviews, and compliance with customer and internal operational requirements.
