Qualifications

Job description

Job Purpose:

To lead a certain cluster for production activities for cell manufacturing at ReNew with a focus on cost reduction and optimum utilization of Machines training & developing of the system/manpower. Works in shifts and is responsible for driving process improvement initiatives within the organization to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. Oversees production processes, packing operations, and finished goods inventory. They develop and implement production plans, optimize processes for efficiency, and coordinate with cross-functional teams. In packing operations, they ensure products are packed to specifications and manage packaging materials inventory. For finished goods inventory, they implement control procedures, optimize stock levels, and coordinate with logistics teams. Quality assurance collaboration ensures products meet standards and regulatory requirements. Leadership includes mentoring teams, providing training, and enhancing skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Handling manufacturing of Solar Cell, material management, capacity utilization, manpower management. Should have extensive knowledge of the manufacturing process.

2. Ensuring high yield, continual productivity improvement of the cluster by implementing new techniques.

3. Devise & implement measurement metrics for monitoring performance with respect to the business plan.

4. Innate skills in MIS, Reports, Data-Analysis & Data-Management to identify bottlenecks, and make data-driven decisions.

5. Monitoring project manpower, costs, timelines, governance & communication; achieving product costs and margins

6. Working Knowledge of SAP in PP & MM modules for auditing and inventory management.

7. Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.

8. Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, maintenance, and quality control to ensure smooth production operations.

9. Monitor production metrics and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective action

10. Digitalization of routine activities for operational efficiency with transparency.

11. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure products meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations.

12. Implement quality control measures and continuous improvement initiatives in production and packing processes.

13. Oversee the storage, tracking, and management of finished goods inventory.

14. Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory.

15. Coordinate with logistics and distribution teams to ensure timely delivery of finished goods to customers

16. Training and Development: Provide training and support to employees on process improvement methodologies and tools.

17. Supervise packing operations to ensure products are packed according to specifications and quality standards.

18. Manage packaging materials inventory, procurement, and usage to support production and packing activities.

19. Implement packing process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and safety

20. Documentation: Maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process maps to ensure transparency and consistency.

Profile & Eligible Criteria:

Education Qualification : B.E. Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical

Required Experience : 3- 8 years in similar roles

Soft Skills : Proficient in MS-Office 2010, SAP and presentation skills.

Desired Industry : Solar Photovoltaic / Manufacturing / Automation Industry
