Job summary

Sécheron Hasler Group, a Swiss engineering heritage with 140+ years, is hiring in Bangalore for an Engineer Materials Planning - SHIN. You will drive material planning, forecasting, inventory control, and production scheduling to support high-power electrical equipment for rail, energy and industrial systems.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering and at least 10 years in planning within rolling stock or related sectors, with ERP (Oracle/SAP) experience and

• Experience with ERP tools such as Oracle or SAP.

Responsibilities

• Develop 12-month rolling forecasts and set operational strategies.
• Lead demand planning and ensure alignment with budget.
• Manage inventory and reduce stockouts.
• Create detailed project schedules (Gantt/PERT) and monitor progress.
• Visit suppliers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure on-time delivery and smooth production.

To support the expansion of our team, we are seeking to hire in Bangalore a dynamic and motivated Engineer Materials Planning - SHIN.

Requirements

• Strategic Planning - Develop 12-month rolling forecasts and set operational strategies to achieve financial goals
• Budget preparation & capacity planning
• Ensure smooth production running and on time delivery to customer.
• Ensure processes and procedures which are strictly followed in Secheron.
• Supply Chain & Production Control - Lead demand planning and ensure alignment with budget.
• Inventory & Cost Optimization - Manage inventory levels and work on non-moving stock and reduce stockouts.
• Project & Schedule Management: Create detailed schedules (Gantt charts/PERT), manage, and monitor project performance.
• Conduct progress review meetings at fixed intervals - daily, weekly, monthly.
• To prepare time cycle charts of major activities of work
• Identify risks and opportunities -highlights anticipated delays/deviancies in advance to take actions
• Collaboration with cross functional team to achieve business objective.
• Visit Suppliers.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
