Job summary

Aptiv in Kerala, India seeks a manufacturing professional to industrialize new projects, including Pinheaders and Mechatronics components. You will define manufacturing processes and automatic assembly lines in collaboration with Product Engineering and the core team.

You will prepare and maintain Bills of Process, support PPAP activities and address product/process issues with cross-functional teams to deliver robust manufacturing solutions.

Qualifications

• Be prime responsible for industrialization of new projects (especially Pinheaders and Mechatronics Package products).
• Develop suitable manufacturing process and automatic assembly line in consultation with Product Engineering and core competency center.
• Prepare, Ensure and maintain Bill of Process.
• Support PPAP activities.

Responsibilities

• Identify robust, cost effective manufacturing solutions.
• Work with CFT, automation / tooling team and suppliers for timely completion of projects.
• Provide training to team members.
• Troubleshoot problems with product and process.

Job description

Be prime responsible for industrialization of new projects (especially Pinheaders and Mechatronics Package products), including tools , Automatic assembly lines and End of line testers Able to clearly understand the customer requirements and technical / product requirement as defined by Product Engineering team and customer. Develop suitable manufacturing process and automatic assembly line in consultation with Product Engineering and core competency center. Terminal pin overmoulding and stitching experience for Pinheaders Ability to trouble shoot problems with product and process Prepare, Ensure and maintain Bill of Process. Prepare Engineering and production documentation meeting Aptiv and customer / IATF audit requirements Ensure following Bill of Process benchmarked with Industry and other Aptiv sites Identify robust, cost effective manufacturing solutions Work with CFT, automation / tooling team and suppliers for timely completion of projects Provide training to team members. Other tasks assigned Work with quality team for qualification of part and process . Support PPAP activities
