Job summary

Vertiv in India is seeking an Engineer – Lab to support production and product testing of power electronics products. You will help with setup build-up, assist testing engineers to verify reliability, specs and compliance, and maintain ISO 17025 lab standards.

You will be responsible for software and hardware testing setups (black/white box) with emphasis on safety, repeatability and calibration data, plus maintaining consumables and lab environmental data.

Qualifications

• Experience in automation testing is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with electrical/electronics setup preparation.
• Strong foundation in analog and digital electronics, power electronics concepts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with production and product testing of new and existing product lines.
• Help verify reliability, specs and certification compliance (UL/CE) for power supply products.
• Maintain lab per ISO 17025, manage calibration data and lab environmental data.
• Develop and maintain test stresses, test forms and test specifications for new functions.

Job Specifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 4 to 7 years of experience in power electronics products/ module testing is required.
• Experience of Automation testing is advantageous.
• Hands on experience in electrical and electronics setup preparation.
• Have a good foundation of analog and digital electricity, familiar with common circuits of power electronics, and have strong hands on ability
• Experience into testing of safety certification such as UL and CE required
• Proactive, Result oriented and able to think deeply and solve problems independently
• Experience in power product development preferred
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision
• Excellent Interpersonal skills & ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English
