Job summary

Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad seeks a Hotel Kitchen Equipment Specialist responsible for operating, maintaining, repairing, and sanitizing specialized commercial kitchen machinery to ensure uninterrupted hotel food service.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex equipment such as walk-in freezers and industrial ovens, and ensure sanitation and safety compliance across kitchen operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Hotel Kitchen Equipment Specialist or Kitchen Technician maintains, operates, repairs, and sanitizes specialized commercial kitchen machinery and heavy equipment to ensure safe and continuous hotel food service operations.

• Equipment Operation & Monitoring: Safely operate heavy-duty cooking, baking, and processing machinery (such as industrial mixers, combi ovens, and dishwashing systems).
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, lubricate moving parts, test electrical connections, and calibrate thermostats on specialized heating and cooling units.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, or plumbing failures in complex machinery like walk-in freezers, steam cookers, and ice-makers.
• Sanitation & Safety Compliance: Deep-clean specialized apparatus (grease traps, exhaust hoods, and fryer vats) to meet strict health and fire safety codes.
• Inventory & Spare Parts Management: Monitor stock levels for replacement parts, belts, valves, and specialized cleaning chemicals.
