Job summary

Insight Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Networking Senior Engineer specializing in Cisco ISE to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade ISE environments.

You will lead multi-site deployments, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with security and application teams. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in enterprise networking, deep Cisco ISE expertise, and strong scripting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Cisco ISE design, implementation, and administration.
• Experience with large-scale, multi-site ISE deployments.
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco ISE architecture, components, and deployment models.
• Proficiency in NAC concepts and implementation.
• Strong understanding of authentication protocols (802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, EAP-TLS, PEAP).
• Experience with network switches, wireless controllers, and endpoint devices.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, and identity management systems.
• Proficiency in command-line interfaces and scripting (Python, Bash preferred).
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise Cisco ISE architectures and deployment models with detailed technical documentation.
• Lead multi-site Cisco ISE installation and configuration including 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, EAP, posture, guest access, BYOD.
• Troubleshoot escalated ISE issues, perform root cause analysis, optimize performance and availability.
• Coordinate with security/infrastructure/application teams; mentor junior engineers; maintain knowledge docs.

About the role

As a Networking Senior Engineer - Cisco ISE Specialization , you will design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade Cisco Identity Services Engine network access and identity management solutions . We will count on you to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant Cisco ISE environments while leading technical initiatives, resolving complex issues, and mentoring junior engineers . Along the way, you will get to:

• Design enterprise Cisco ISE architectures, deployment models, network access control strategies, security policies, and detailed technical documentation.
• Lead multi-site Cisco ISE installation and configuration, including 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, EAP, segmentation, posture, guest access, and BYOD frameworks.
• Troubleshoot escalated ISE issues, perform root cause analysis, optimize performance and high availability, conduct capacity planning, and support compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with security, infrastructure, and application teams, mentor junior engineers, maintain knowledge documentation, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders. to four responsibilities

What we’re looking for
