Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced professional to drive industrial automation for machines in Bengaluru. You will program and test PLC, HMI, LabVIEW, and test equipment, mentor teams across design, assembly, and process functions, and lead validation and qualification efforts.

You will install, commission, and hand over machinery, monitor performance, and address issues during operation while collaborating with stakeholders and customers to ensure compliance with safety and quality

Competenze

• 4–7+ years of industrial automation programming experience.
• BE or Diploma in Electrical and Electronics / Electronics and communication / Instrumentation / Mechatronics.
• Experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, and various communication protocols.
• Experience with PC based Test equipment and test machines is a plus.

Mansioni

• Realize industrial automation of machines per technical files while meeting safety, quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Lead parameter setting in test benches to ensure quality.
• Install, commission and qualify machines at Schneider plants or supplier sites as needed.
• Provide technical support and resolve issues in running machines; attend service calls as needed.

Realize the Industrial Automation of the machine as per the technical files meeting the Safety , Quality , Cost and Delivery Master the Product testing , criticality involved to ensure as per IMR ( Industrial Mandatory Requirement ) Lead the parameter setting activity in the test benches to deliver quality product. Interact with all stakeholders – Design ,Assembly , Process teams to understand the technical needs and realize PLC, HMI, NI LabVIEW, TestSTAND, Vision, Robot Offline & Online Programming. Load, test, Prove-out, Qualify the Testers /machines. Installation and commissioning and qualification at Schneider Plants , Supplier if needed. Complete the required documentation and handover the machines to the respective departments. Monitor the performance of the running machines during the observation period and lead the corrective actions Offer technical support to resolve problems in running machines. Attend to service calls on need basis.

What's in it for me?

• Should have at least 4-7 plus years’ experience in industrial automation, programming
• BE/Diploma in Electrical and Electronics / Electronics and communication / Instrumentation / Mechatronics
• General manufacturing processes in Electrical/Auto/Auto auxiliary Industry , Machine Assembly knowledge
• Manufacturing Industry and Discrete line experience is must. Industry experience like Machine builder, Automobile, Auto accessories, Switch gear, manufacturing,
• Experience in handling PC based Test equipment and test machines.
• Programming Knowledge on NI test stand , Labview
• Experience in PLC, HMI, SCADA, Analog modules, different communication protocols. Prefer to have Schneider PLC & HMI experience.
• Experience in handling Industrial elements: Laser marking, Robotics, Vision inspection, Scanning, Product testing, Torquing, Sensors, Assembly Poka-yoke, Servo drives, welding controller, Load cell LVDT, Power source, printers.
• Experience in Communication Protocols Serial, Modbus, Profibus, TCPIP, FTP, Ethernet IP.
• Troubleshooting Experience in Applications, Electrical circuit, Mechanical, Pneumatic.
• Knowledge in validation of Machine Risk Assessment, Safety circuit and poke yoke.
• Knowledge in Cycle time study and line balancing.
• Knowledge in pneumatic and hydraulic circuit understanding.
• Able to understand , interpret Electrical drawings , Suggest improvement in Machine design
• Communication skill for technical exchanging with Customers
