Job summary

ideaForge in Navi Mumbai is seeking an experienced engineer to lead embedded system and hardware development. You will drive electronics design, PCB layout, and sensor integration, ensuring reliable production and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on expertise in embedded C, schematic/PCB design, and a proactive approach to testing, documentation, and cross-functional teamwork. You will mentor peers and contribute to challenging milestones in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in electronics, microcontroller-based embedded systems and interfaces.
• Hands-on with components, ICs and sensors; capable of selecting and integrating parts.
• Experience with hardware/firmware design, simulation, testing and debugging.
• Proficient in schematic and PCB design tools (Eagle, Altium).
• Expertise in Embedded C and creating scalable, reusable code.
• Ability to develop and execute comprehensive test plans.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in electronics, microcontroller-based embedded systems, and communication interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with electronic components (passive/active), ICs, and sensors.
• Proficient in component selection and integration based on technical requirements and constraints.
• Skilled in creating block diagrams, schematics, design calculations, BOMs, and documentation.
• Experience with hardware/firmware design, simulation, testing, and debugging tools and methodologies.
• Proficient in schematic and PCB design tools such as Eagle, Altium, etc.
• Expertise in writing optimized, reusable, and scalable code in Embedded C.
• Ability to create and execute comprehensive test plans to validate design performance.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities throughout development and validation stages.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with a strong sense of ownership.
