How You’ll Help Us Connect the World:

As an Engineer I, Quality, you will be collaborating with professionals in engineering, operations, product management, quality, and procurement within the ANDREW Structure and Connectivity (ASC) Business Unit. With a focus on new product introduction, efficiency and risk mitigation, you will support the microwave systems and Heliax project teams to assure successful implementation of process, quality controls and product. In addition, you will support continuous improvement activities to minimize customer and product quality issues. This role will be based in Goa, India.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Developing and deploying corporate quality and business processes.
• Leading cross-functional process improvement teams.
• Developing process training documents and delivering training.
• Conducting audits of ISO9001/TL9000 processes.
• Reviewing and analyzing internal audit data to identify systemic issues, common root causes and trends to help identify and drive process improvement.
• Providing support to business unit and facility Quality Management System documentation development, deployment, and maintenance.
• Ensuring the users of corporate Quality Management System procedures are properly trained.
• Identifying areas of risk, weakness, or other opportunities for improvement.
• Developing corrective and preventive action plans to address and resolve audit findings.
• Supporting ongoing special quality projects as needed.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Basic understanding of quality concepts, statistical analysis, problem solving and process improvement techniques, root cause analysis, 8D methodology, failure mode and effect analysis, and control plans.
• Demonstrated strong leadership and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and innovative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, work independently, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently with individuals at all levels of the organization.
