Job summary

Vertiv seeks a field service engineer with 6+ years in UPS/DC power for telecom power equipment. You will provide onsite technical support, I&C and planning, and coordinate preventive maintenance of AMC equipment, delivering quality service with detailed reports.

Based in Kolkata, you will interact with customers, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with the tech team to improve designs based on field feedback while upholding Vertiv’s core principles.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for product service and I&C activity of Telecom Power Equipment / Systems.
• Provide technical support, onsite service support, I&C and planning.
• Plan and execute preventative maintenance of AMC equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve product technical issues.
• Prepare detailed reports on I&C, PM and BD service visits.
• Collaborate with technical team to improve product design based on field feedback.
• Direct customer interaction for project and service day-to-day updates & tracking.
• Prepare detailed records of inventory; incoming/outgoing spare parts.
• Execute and coordinate multiple activities independently.
• Communicate effectively in English with stakeholders.

• Planning and timely execution of preventative maintenance of AMC equipment’s.
• Troubleshooting and resolution of Product technical issues.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing system issues and concerns effectively.
• Prepare detailed reports on I&C, PM and BD service visits, including issues encountered and solutions implemented.
• Collaborate with the technical team to improve product design and functionality based on the site or field team feedback.
• Direct customer interaction for project and service day-to-day update & tracking
• Prepare detailed record of inventory ; incoming/outgoing spare parts.
• Quick Learner and Result-oriented by providing quality deliverables.
• Execute and co-ordinate on Multiple activities independently.
• Excellent Interpersonal skills & ability to communicate effectively in English
