Job summary

Vertiv in Pune is seeking an Engineer – Electrical to design control panels and electrical systems. You will use AutoCAD, Creo, Visio, and Mentor Graphics to create SLDs, circuit diagrams, and PCB layouts, while coordinating with mechanical teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in electrical/electronic engineering and 3–5 years of experience in control panel systems. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to deliver projects and support global Offering Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in control panel system design.
• Ability to read/prepare SLDs and circuit diagrams.
• Knowledge of electronics/electrical components.
• Experience in PCB design and component layout.
• Experience in wiring harnesses and CAD drafting standards.
• Proficiency with Visio, Mentor Graphics and Creo Harness CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality and schedule adherence as defined by the organization and report as per the communication plan.
• Lead and guide other engineers to deliver assigned projects or tasks.
• Collaborate with Mechanical team to provide electrical inputs during design phase.
• Communicate and coordinate with US/EMEA Offering Management, Engineering & Design Teams and customer consultations as required.

• Having Knowledge of electrical and electronicsystem design ( AC to DC / DC- DC converter design preferable).
• Hands on knowledge of AutoCAD / Creo / Visio/ Mentor graphics
• Preparing Change Order, Creating Item, PCB & system Schematic drawing
• He / she is expected to maintain desired quality & schedule adherence defined by organization and report as per defined communication plan.
• He / She will be expected to work & guide other engineer to deliver the assigned projects or task as needed.
• Work closely with Mechanical team to provide electrical inputs during design phase.
