Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Hyderabad is seeking a Design Engineer in the FLASH Group to contribute to on‑chip controller and mixed‑signal circuitry in NAND flash devices.

You will participate in architecture development, detailed transistor‑level design, test plans, system integration and verification, including RTL design and firmware for NAND internal operations. You will work with Verilog, digital and analog design concepts, and CAD tools to validate full‑chip designs, leveraging AI‑assisted

Qualifications

• Semiconductor design engineer at level 3 or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Verilog and RTL design.
• Strong digital logic fundamentals; basic analog understanding.
• Experience with mixed-mode design and verification.
• Familiarity with standard CAD tools (ncsim, Design Compiler, Formality, PrimeTime).
• TCL or PERL scripting knowledge.
• Knowledge of NAND memory design is a plus.
• Ability to leverage AI-assisted coding to improve efficiency.

The Design Engineer in the FLASH Group at Micron Technology, Inc., will be core technical individual contributor in design and validation of the on-chip controller and mixed signal circuitry in NAND FLASH chips. In this highly visible and exciting role, your responsibilities will include architecture development and product definition, detailed transistor level design, test plan, system integration and verification. Some RTL design and implementation of the controller hardware, design and development of firmware code for NAND internal operations and full-chip Verilog Validation.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Proven knowledge in Verilog language.
• Solid digital logic fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of analog circuits.
• Understanding and knowledge with mixed-mode design and validation.
• Through understanding of Design/Verification CAD tools such as ncsim, Design Compiler, Formality, PrimeTime, etc.
• Knowledge of TCL or PERL.
• Knowledge in non-volatile memory design (NAND in particular) is a strong plus.
• Proven ability to leverage AI‑assisted coding techniques to improve efficiency or automate design and analysis methodologies.
• Leverage AI tools to automate the tools and workflow.
