Job summary

HAEFELY AG, part of the PFIFFNER Group, invites you to join as Engineer – Field Service to support high-voltage test and measurement equipment worldwide.

Base location is Nashik, India, with extensive travel (60–70%) across India and abroad. You will commission, maintain, calibrate, and provide expert on-site guidance to customers.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree a plus.
• Experience as Field Service Engineer in high voltage.
• Ability to read mechanical layouts and electrical schematics.
• Understanding HV test equipment systems (mechanical/electrical).
• Willingness to travel 60–70% and work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning, installation, and setup of HV test devices.
• Inspection, modernization, and maintenance of HV test systems.
• Diagnose, repair, and preventive maintenance.
• Calibrate per internal quality standards.
• Provide expert on-site or telephonic support and advisory services to customers.
• Complete service documentation and reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Commissioning, installation and set- up of new devices of high-voltage test and measurement equipment
• Inspection, modernization, and maintenance of high-voltage test systems
• Execute diagnosis, repair, and preventive maintenance
• Perform precise calibration in compliance with internal quality standards
• Provide expert (telephonic / onsite) technical support and advisory services to customers/ users as required
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all service documentation, including reports and expenses

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

• B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. Master's degree will be an added advantage.
• Preferred experience in high voltage as Field Service Engineer
• Skills to interpret mechanical layout drawings, electrical schematics, and bills of materials
• A strong understanding of the specific equipment or systems related to high voltage test equipment for which the role involves, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
• An active personality, enjoying practical work and traveling (approx. 60% ~ 70%). As, on-site assignments typically last a few days to two weeks.

LOCATION

• Base location for this role will be Nashik, India
• Position requires extensive travel within India and abroad (travel – 60% ~ 70%)
