Responsibilities

• Set up/optimize long term material plan according to market forecast/consumption/capacity; coordinate with supplier for material preparation and capacity reservation
• Plan and order materials from suppliers; monitor plan/order to ensure on-time delivery
• Daily check for past due and missing parts to avoid impacting production orders and customer OTD
• Coordinate with plants to address unqualified material; push inspection for urgent material and material transfers; communicate with production planner
• Control material inventory to meet KPI targets
• Lead material-related projects to optimize supply chain and improve supplier delivery performance
• Manage logistic supplier relations (onboard suppliers; track KPIs; support bottlenecks; coordinate annual alignments on logistics parameters)

Job description

'1. Set up/optimize long term material plan according to market forecast/consumption/capacity, coordination with supplier to ensure material preparation and capacity reservation.
2. Material planning and ordering from suppliers, monitor plan/order implementation to ensure on time delivery.
3. Past Due and Missing part for production daily check to ensure no impact on production orders and Customer OTD
4. Coordinate with plants to deal with unqualified material, push inspection process for urgent material and physical material transferring etc. internal process. Communicate with production planner in time to fulfill customer demand
5. Material Inventory control to meet KPI requirement.
6. Responsible for related material project to optimize supply chain and improve supplier delivery performance
7. Logistical supplier management (support supplier onboarding; supplier KPI tracking; logistical support of suppliers in bottleneck situations; coordination of annual aligments with suppliers on logistic parameters for SA, EDI, TLV, etc)

Qualifications

• '- Bachelor degree, Major in Mechanical, Trading or Logistic preferred with Minimum 3 -4 years of topical work experience in material and supplier planning
• - Profound knowledge and experience in MRP II/SAP, MM. lean logistic, Pull System (incl. Kanban and Supermarket)
• - Familiar with MS OFFICE, good at PC skill and good knowledge in SAP material planning
• - Logical and Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) thinking
• - Fluent in both written and spoken English
• - Open personality, team spirit and active communication skills
• - Honest, responsibility, able to work under pressure
• - Problem analytical skill and problem solving
• - Relevant working experience incl. production or project management preferred
• - German language skills would an advantage, but are not a mandatory requirement.
