Job summary

Sigma Engineered Solutions in Pune seeks an Engineer/Sr. Engineer to design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CREO, and to prepare drawings, models and BOMs.

The role requires 3–6 years of mechanical experience, strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, and a continuous-improvement mindset. Die casting knowledge is preferred to enhance manufacturability.

Qualifications

• DME/BE Mechanical required with 3–6 years of experience.
• Experience in 2D drawings and 3D models using CREO.
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerancing is preferred.
• Die casting knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of mechanical components and assemblies.
• Prepare and review 2D drawings, 3D models, specifications and BOMs.
• Support new product development and existing product improvement activities.
• Conduct design reviews, tolerance analysis, DFMEA and design risk assessments.
• Drive engineering change activities from evaluation through implementation.
• Apply DFM/DFA principles to improve manufacturability.
• Review requirements, drawings, specifications and standards.
• Ensure projects meet quality, cost and timeline targets.
• Evaluate alternative materials and design concepts.

Name of Position : Engineer/Sr. Engineer

1.Job Objective :-

2D & 3D creation using CREO, Hands on Solid & Surfacing Module

2.Key Role & Responsibilities :-

• Design and development of mechanical components and assemblies.
• Prepare and review 2D drawings, 3D models, specifications and BOMs.
• Support new product development and existing product improvement activities.
• Conduct design reviews, tolerance analysis, DFMEA and design risk assessments.
• Drive ECR/ECRN/engineering change activities from technical evaluation through implementation
• Apply DFM/DFA principles to improve manufacturability and product robustness.
• Review product requirements, drawings, specifications and applicable standards.
• Die casting process knowledge is prefers
• Product Drawing readings, GD&T Knowledge
• Ensure engineering projects are completed within agreed quality, cost and timeline targets.
• Evaluate alternative materials, manufacturing processes and design concepts.
• Support cost-reduction and value-engineering initiatives.

3.Qualification & Experience Required :-
