Job summary

Speed Global in Pune, Maharashtra, seeks an Associate Technical Leader with 9–12 years in product design to lead engine components and related systems using Creo 10. The role emphasizes designing, modeling, and drafting to meet customer specs and manufacturability.

You will work with application engineering, manufacturing, quality, and sourcing to drive design feasibility and timely execution, performing design reviews and engineering changes as needed.

Qualifications

• Engineering Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• 9–12 years of experience in product design and engineering of engine components and related parts.
• Proficiency in Creo 10 for 3D modelling, assemblies, detailing and drafting.
• Strong understanding of mechanical fundamentals, manufacturing processes, GD&T, and drawing standards.
• Experience in engine application engineering and product development activities.
• Strong CAD modelling and complex assembly management skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work across all phases of the product design lifecycle.
• Adaptable in dynamic project environments; detail-oriented and quality-focused.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain 3D models, assemblies, detailed drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation in accordance with design standards.
• Support product design activities from concept through design release, validation, and manufacturing.
• Perform design modifications, engineering change implementations, and drawing updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including application engineering, manufacturing, quality, and sourcing to ensure design feasibility and timely project execution.
• Conduct design reviews, tolerance stack-up analysis, and technical evaluations to ensure product performance and manufacturability.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, engineering standards, and industry best practices.
