Job summary

Jacobs in India seeks an electrical design engineer to independently manage design work on projects and, when needed, lead a small team of 1–3 people.

You will handle dry utility electrical design for HV/MV/LV networks, pumping stations, water and wastewater treatment, street lighting, and prepare SLDs, layouts, wiring, protection schemes and BOQ with QA/QC adherence in a collaborative hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• BE/B Tech/ME/M Tech Electrical degree required.
• Minimum experience requirement implied: 4–16 years in electrical design.

Responsibilities

• Shall be able to independently handle electrical design work in projects.
• May lead a small project team of 1–3 people.
• Shall be well versed in Dry utility electrical design of HV, MV, LV network design, pumping stations, water wastewater treatment plants, street lighting.
• Shall be well versed with electrical design calculations, preparation of single line diagrams, layouts, schematic wiring, protection and control schemes.
• Preparation of design basis, technical specification, BOQ.
• Shall have knowledge of all electrical deliverables and drawings.
• Shall be well versed with QA/QC requirements.
