Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer in India to independently handle electrical design work across projects, including HV/MV/LV networks, pumping stations, and water treatment facilities. You may lead a small team of 1–3 people and will prepare design basis, specs and BOQs while ensuring QA/QC compliance.

Qualifications include BE/B Tech/ME/M Tech Electrical and 4–16 years of experience. Proficiency in ETAP/SKM, Dialux and MS Office is expected; Jacobs supports hybrid work with

• Electrical engineering degree required.
• Experience in electrical design calculations and SLDs.
• QA/QC experience or awareness expected.

Responsabilidades

• Independently handle electrical design work for projects.
• May lead small project team (1–3 people).
• Design of HV/MV/LV networks, pumping stations, water/wastewater treatment, and street lighting.
• Prepare design basis, technical specifications, and BOQs.
• Ensure all electrical deliverables comply with QA/QC requirements.

About The Opportunity

• Shall be able to independently handle electrical design work in projects
• May be needed to lead small project team of 1-3 people.
• Shall be well versed Dry utility electrical design of HV, MV, LV Network design, Pumping stations, Water wastewater treatment plants, Street lighting.
• Shall be well versed in electrical design calculations, preparation of of Single line diagrams, layouts, schematic wiring, protection and control schemes
• Preparation of design basis, technical specification, BOQ
• Shall have knowledge all Electrical related related deliverables and drawings
• Shall be well versed with QA/QC requirements
