Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking an electrical design professional to independently manage design work on projects and potentially lead a small team.

The role emphasizes dry utility electrical design across HV, MV, and LV networks including pumping stations and water treatment facilities. The ideal candidate has BE/BTech in Electrical with 4–16 years of experience and proficiency with ETAP, SKM, and Dialux, plus MS Office.

• BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Electrical
• 4–16 years of experience in electrical design
• Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, Dialux, and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Independently handle electrical design work in projects
• May lead a small project team of 1–3 people
• Prepare SLDs, layouts, wiring diagrams, protection and control schemes
• Prepare design basis, technical specifications and BOQs
• Ensure all electrical deliverables and drawings meet QA/QC standards

About the opportunity

• Shall be able to independently handle electrical design work in projects
• May be needed to lead small project team of 1-3 people.
• Shall be well versed Dry utility electrical design of HV, MV, LV Network design, Pumping stations, Water wastewater treatment plants, Street lighting.
• Shall be well versed in electrical design calculations, preparation of of Single line diagrams, layouts, schematic wiring, protection and control schemes
• Preparation of design basis, technical specification, BOQ
• Shall have knowledge all Electrical related related deliverables and drawings
• Shall be well versed with QA/QC requirements
