Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer in India who will independently perform electrical design tasks across projects, including high, medium, and low voltage networks, pumping stations, and water/wastewater facilities.

The candidate should be capable of leading a small team (1-3 people) and ensure QA/QC of deliverables while aligning with project requirements and schedules.

Qualifications

• BE/B Tech/ME/M Tech Electrical degree.
• 4–16 years of electrical design experience.
• Proficiency in ETAP or SKM, Dialux, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Shall be able to independently handle electrical design work in projects.
• May lead a small project team of 1-3 people.
• Shall be well versed in dry utility electrical design of HV, MV, LV network design, pumping stations, water wastewater treatment plants, street lighting.

About The Opportunity

• Shall be able to independently handle electrical design work in projects
• May be needed to lead small project team of 1-3 people.
• Shall be well versed Dry utility electrical design of HV, MV, LV Network design, Pumping stations, Water wastewater treatment plants, Street lighting.
• Shall be well versed in electrical design calculations, preparation of of Single line diagrams, layouts, schematic wiring, protection and control schemes
• Preparation of design basis, technical specification, BOQ
• Shall have knowledge all Electrical related related deliverables and drawings
• Shall be well versed with QA/QC requirements

About You

• Minimum Experience of 4 to 16 years
