Job summary

Lotus Technicals Pvt. Ltd. in Thane is seeking a diligent electrical engineering professional to perform calculations for cable schedules, transformer sizing, panel sizing, lighting levels, earthing and BMS systems, and LV power distribution for industrial projects.

You will also prepare BOQs, technical specs, SLDs and wiring diagrams, and engage with vendors for offers. The role combines design and site activities, requiring collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to ensure

Responsibilities

• Toperform electrical calculations for: CableSchedule, Transformer sizing, Panel sizing, Lighting lux levels, Earthing and BMS for HVAC, LV system.
• Prepare overall electrical BOQ and costing for projects.
• Prepare technical specifications of electrical components for projects.
• Prepare SLDs, wiring diagrams and block diagrams for projects.
• Discuss with vendors regarding technical details and commercial offers.

Job description

1. Toperform electrical calculations for:

• a) CableSchedule
• b) Transformersizing and calculations
• c) Electricalpanel sizing and calculations
• d) Lightinglux level calculations
• e) Earthingand lightning protection systemcalculation
• g) Lowvoltage system calculations
• h) BuildingManagement System (BMS) system for heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning(HVAC) systems.

2. Toprepare the overall electrical Bill of Quantity (BOQ) and costing forindividual projects.

3. Toprepare the overall technical specifications of electrical components forindividual projects.

4. Toprepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams, and block diagrams forindividual projects.

5. To discuss with vendors regarding technicaldetails and commercial offers.

Knowledge:

• 1. Proficientin Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.
• 2. Familiarity with electrical system analysis.
• 3. Familiarity with CAD and Revit software.
• 4. Working experience in both design and site activities wouldbe an added advantage.
• 5. Good knowledge ofInternational Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) codes and standards.
• 6. Basic understandingof industrial electrical systems, including transformers, DG sets, LT panels, and powerdistribution systems.

Preferred Knowledge:

• 1. Acombination of design and site work experience would be an added advantage.
