Role description

• Good understanding and knowledge on international codes like DMRB, AASHTO, and Euro codes along with various other International Code Practices and Standards, Design Standards of Local County Councils
• Highway Drainage Design experience using Civil 3D and good expertise in 3D modelling for proposals and detail design projects
• Roadway Drainage Design for various stages of Design Build Projects – Detailed design of Roadway corridor, detailed drawings, construction support drawings, design reviews, project management, design management
• Experience in MS Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Role accountabilities

• Responsible for end-to-end project design and delivery for Highway Drainage related tasks
• Preparation / Finalization of various highway related drawings at various stages of projects
• Computation of quantities
• Preparation of design basis reports
• Ability to understand existing condition reports and surveys
• Should have handled minimum of 3-4 design projects overseas preferably for UK in Infrastructure Business
• Should have worked for UK Projects and must be conversant with DBRB specifications and standards

Qualifications & Experience

• Education – Graduation – B.Tech/B.E. – Civil or Post Graduation – Water resource/Environment or Civil
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a Design Consulting Environment
• Strong understanding of DMRB codes
• Design Software – Drainage design software like Micro Drainage/Info Drainage/Storm Cad/12D or other relevant drainage design software
• BIM Software – Civil 3D and AutoCAD, MX, Infraworks and Navisworks would be an added advantage
• Delivered at least one major project for the UK Lead region in an Assistant lead role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English), including technical report writing
• Organized and proactive (self‑starter)
