Job summary

Freudenberg Group in Pune, India seeks a technical product designer with plastics/process/mechanical/chemical engineering background. You will contribute to design, drafting, and drawing management in a hybrid work setup.

The role values Lean basics, Product Design FMEA, basic quality knowledge, and familiarity with SAP and MS Office; CAD experience (Autodesk Inventor) is preferred. Fresh graduates with potential are welcome.

Qualifications

• Technical product designer or engineer with plastics/process/mechanical/chemical focus.
• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred; newcomers welcome with potential.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and Lean basics.
• Knowledge of CAD and drawing management tools.
• Experience with SAP and MS Office is beneficial.

Qualifications arrow_right

• Technical product designer, Technician or Engineering Graduate in the fields of plastics, process, mechanical or chemical engineering
• Professional job experience of 2+ years is desirable, but not mandatory. A talented newcomer with potential to advance is also welcome
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, basics of Lean Management, Product Design FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), basic quality management knowledge
• Preferably a good product and market knowledge in filtration industries
• Basic skills in CAD (preferably Autodesk 3D Inventor) & drawing management (preferably Autodesk Vault)
• Confident use of Microsoft Office, SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing), project management software desirable
