Job summary

Freudenberg Filtration Technologies India Private Limited, Pune, is seeking a Deputy Manager Finance and Accounts to lead finance operations, manage the accounting team, ensure accurate reporting, and support audits. The role requires CA or equivalent with extensive SAP S/4HANA experience and strong analytical skills.

The position is on-site in Pune, with collaboration across procurement, HR & Admin, sales and manufacturing teams to drive financial discipline and efficiency.

Qualifications

• CA with strong accounting principles and 5+ years of finance experience.
• MBA Finance / M.Com with 10+ years in Finance & Accounting, SAP S/4HANA experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting functions: JVs, GL reconciliations, cost control; ensure data integrity.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual group reports; support audits and statutory filings.
• Ensure internal controls compliance; coordinate with internal/external audits and remediation.

Deputy Manager Finance and Accounts

Responsibilities

• Finance and Accounting (leading team for following Key activities)
• 1. Account Management: Accounting function: JVs, GL reconciliations, cost control to maintain accurate books and manage expenses. Daily transaction verification to ensure integrity and accuracy of financial data.
• 2. Reporting: Monthly, quarterly, annual group reporting to provide stakeholders with financial performance insights. Preparation of financial reports, annexures, and schedules to support internal and external reporting requirements. Audit support: financial and tax audits, including preparation of documentation and responses to auditor queries.
• 3. Compliance and risk management: ensure compliance with internal financial controls, accounting standards, and external regulations in collaboration with external / internal audit . He / She establishes effective controls as well as a diligent and effective remediation of findings of internal / external audits.
• 4. Within Finance Function: Assist plant and finance controllers with daily operations and monthly closing activities.Prepare and submit internal reports, schedules, and reconciliations.Generate ad-hoc reports and data sets for internal reviews and audits.
• Additional Responsibilities
• 1. Managing resources Fostering a culture of collaboration, professional development, and continuous improvement within the department. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge
• 2. Continuous improvements: Drive process improvements and automation within the financ.
• 3. Management: Deliver timely and accurate financial data, statements, and reports as requested by management.
• 4. Collaborated and coordinated with cross-functional teams including Procurement, HR & Admin, Sales, and Operations to ensure seamless execution of business processes, enhance interdepartmental communication, and drive organizational efficiency

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong foundation in financial and accounting principles.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Finance and Accounting, including at least 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA in MNC with Engineering Manufacturing setups
• BCom/MBA finance/M.com with 10+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting, including at least 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA in MNC
• Proven experience of 2+ years managing finance and accounts teams.
• Knowledge of IFRS is an added advantage
• Technical skills:
