Job summary

Phoenix Mills seeks an experienced Engineer- Projects to drive end-to-end project execution for large-scale residential/hotel developments from Mohali. You will coordinate with the Projects leadership, manage schedules, budgets and risks, and ensure timely delivery with strict cost and quality controls.

The role requires strong project management, contract documentation knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD, with experience in interiors and retrofitting considered an advantage.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of experience leading project execution for large-scale projects.
• Experience in interior works; retrofitting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Manager-Projects and stakeholders to finalize engineering brief and project framework.
• Drive continuous improvement, value engineering and innovative approaches across project works.
• Prepare broad project schedules with inputs from leadership and planning, detailing activities, timelines and risks.
• Develop risk mitigation plans with backup options and ensure adherence to them.
• Oversee procurement of materials/equipment to meet delivery quality, quantity and schedule.
• Ensure construction activities meet quality standards and regulatory compliance, including HSE obligations.
• Obtain required licenses/NOCs from government agencies before construction activities start.

KeyResponsibilities

• Works closely withManager-Projects, leadership team and other stakeholders to develop theproject management framework and sign off on the Engineering brief
• Drive continuousimprovement, value engineering and innovation across all project works.
• Assist in preparationof broad Project schedule based on the inputs provided and approvals frombusiness leadership, and also provide inputs to the planning department indetailing the project plan in terms of activity level break down, timelines,project risks, etc
• Assist in preparationof risk mitigation strategies/action plan for each identified risk includingcredible/ alternate backup options and implement and ensure adherence to thesame
• Monitoring theProcurement of Material/ Equipment by ensuring adherence to agreed deliveryquality, quantity and schedule and take corrective measures
• Ensure allconstruction activities adhere to the expected quality standards
• Responsiblefor all statuary compliances related to HSE as defined by regulatoryauthorities under all applicable labor laws/ statutes, etc., and ensure safeand healthy environment for all project personnel
• Ensure all Licenses/ No objection Certificates (NOCs) required as perthe project life-cycle are obtained from various Government agencies beforecommencing construction activities
