Job summary

Optiv in Bangalore is seeking an on-site PAM engineer to join the team, three days per week at the Bangalore office. You will serve as the primary technical responder for incidents related to BeyondTrust Password Safe, Privileged Remote Access, and Endpoint Privilege Management, performing discovery audits and developing compliance campaigns.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on experience with BeyondTrust and PAM, strong scripting (JavaScript, Python) and REST API, and solid

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and issue isolation skills.
• 3-5 years’ experience implementing, administering, and supporting privileged access management technologies (preferably BeyondTrust).
• Ideal candidate will stay current on BeyondTrust and PAM trends, tools, and methodologies.
• 3-5 years’ experience with BeyondTrust and related technologies; system administration, scripting (JavaScript, Python), Rest API, LDAP directories, Active Directory.
• Familiarity with Privileged Access Management architecture.
• 2-4 years’ experience administering Active Directory objects, architecture, and back-end infrastructure.
• 2-4 years’ experience remotely administering Windows Server OS and Unix/Linux via CLI; MCSE and/or MS Azure certifications a plus.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and analyzing data (Error Logs).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Postman, Powershell, Beanshell, JavaScript, Python).
• Must possess BeyondTrust Engineer Password Safe certifications on hire.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, CHFI, SSCP, CCSP, etc) desired.
• Familiarity with ITIL, SDLC, and DevOps practices (ITIL certs a plus).
• Prior experience or familiarity with NOC/SOC environments is desired.
• English fluency required.
• Must be able to report onsite to Bangalore office minimum 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary technical responder for incidents and requests related to BeyondTrust PAM technologies.
• Perform discovery audits and work with clients on certification/compliance campaigns and reporting.
• Collect logs, analyze failures, troubleshoot issues, and implement known solutions within OLAs/SLAs.
• Document incident resolutions, RCA/RFOs, SOPs, and reference architectures as needed.
• Perform routine changes and maintenance including hotfixes, security patches, device reboots, and backups.

  • BeyondTrust Endpoint Privilege Management
• Perform discovery audits and work with clients to develop certification and compliance campaigns and reporting
• Collect logs, analyze failure situations, troubleshoot issues and implement known solutions while maintaining established OLAs/SLAs.
• Document incident resolutions, RCA/RFOs, and SOPs, design specifications, and reference architectures as needed
• Perform routine changes and maintenance including hotfix and security patching, device reboots, and configuration backups.

• 3-5 years’ experience years Proficiency in BeyondTrust and related technologies. Experience in system administration, scripting (JavaScript, Python), Rest API, LDAP directories, Active Directory
• Familiarity with Privileged Access Management architecture
• 2-4 years’ experience administering Active Directory objects, architecture, and back-end infrastructure.
• 2-4 years’ experience remotely administering both Windows Server OS and Unix/Linux-based systems from a command line interface (MCSE and/or MS Azure certifications a plus)
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and analyzing data (Analyzing Error Logs).
• Familiarity with applicable scripting languages (Postman, Powershell, Beanshell, Javascript, Python, etc)
• Must possess BeyondTrust Engineer Password Safe certifications on hire.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant industry certifications highly desired (e.g. CISSP, CEH, CHFI, SSCP, CCSP, etc).
• Familiarity with ITIL , SDLC, and DevOps procedures and best practices (ITIL certifications a plus).
• Prior experience or familiarity with a NOC/SOC-type working environment highly desired.
• English fluency required.
• Must be able to report onsite to our Bangalore office minimum 3 days per week.
