ACG, headquartered in Mumbai, invites an Engineer - Application Engineering to join the Kandivali design team. The role centers on designing, developing and applying pharmaceutical process equipment in compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.

You will work under the Lead- Design to implement cost-effective modifications, ensure manufacturability and reliability, and align with project goals. A BE Mechanical degree is mandatory and Solid Edge/SolidWorks certification is preferred.

Job Objective

To design, develop, and improve pharmaceutical process equipment and systems that meet GMP, regulatory, and customer requirements while ensuring innovation, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.

Primary Responsibilities

Will be responsible for the design development and application engineering for the business. He / she will have to comply with the systems, policies and procedures within the design function and will also be responsible for goals within the Business Unit.

• Developing projects using engineering principles and techniques


• Developing, testing and evaluating theoretical designs


• Designing and implementing cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety, reliability and throughput.


• Discussing and solving complex problems with manufacturing, vendors and customers


• Making sure a product can be made again reliably and will perform consistently in specified operating environments


• Recommending modifications following prototype test results


• Using research, analytical, conceptual and planning skills, particularly mathematical modelling and computer-aided design


• Considering the implications of issues such as cost, safety and time constraints while designing.
