CERATIZIT India Pvt. Ltd. in India is seeking an experienced Sales Tech Support to assist the Sales Team with tooling solutions and manufacturing process expertise.

You will engage in CNC-related discussions, drive customer value, and coordinate tooling-up projects across sites. The role requires 5–8 years in cutting tool applications and CNC machining, with willingness to travel extensively. Collaboration with design, project, and production teams is essential to deliver optimized tooling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years in cutting tool applications, machining or production engineering.
• Strong knowledge of metal cutting, machining parameters, and tool geometry.
• Hands-on experience with CNC Turning Centres, Machining Centres, Multi‑Axis Machines, and Tool Presetting Systems.
• Experience with carbide tooling, indexable tooling, solid carbide tools, inserts, and workpiece materials.
• Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits, tool trials and technical support.
• Proficiency in MS Office; CAD/CAM familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Sales for conversion, market penetration, and customer retention.
• Lead tooling-up projects and coordinate with manufacturing teams.
• Demonstrate CNC and NC programming expertise to customers.
• Present cost-saving and productivity proposals using tooling solutions.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical support to the Sales Team for business conversion, market penetration, and customer retention.
• Provide hands‑on expertise in manufacturing processes, conduct technical and DAP discussions with customers, and coordinate tooling‑up projects.
• Demonstrate hands‑on experience in CNC machines, NC programming, and complete project execution as per committed timelines.
• Demonstrate value propositions by presenting cost‑saving and productivity improvement proposals to customers through the best tooling solutions over competition, seminars, and technical presentations.
• Lead the sales team in identifying process improvement opportunities at customer premises and provide the right tooling proposals to establish improved CPC and productivity.
• Identify conversion opportunities with key customers and conduct extensive tooling trials to achieve better cost savings, supporting the sales team in generating new business.
• Provide sound technical knowledge in work‑holding devices and cutting tool troubleshooting.
• Act as the nodal coordinator in the complaint management system and assist the sales team with the right strategy for both real‑time and offline troubleshooting cases.
• Coordinate with stakeholders from design, project, and production teams to finalize tooling solutions and propose new products.
• Build technical competence within the sales team through training programs, webinars, and seminars conducted both at customer premises and through online platforms.

PROFILE / REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in cutting tool applications, machining processes, CNC manufacturing, or production engineering.
• Strong knowledge of metal cutting technology, machining parameters, and tool geometry. Hands‑on experience with CNC Turning Centres, Machining Centres, Multi‑Axis Machines, and Tool Presetting Systems.
• Good understanding of carbide tooling, indexable tooling systems, solid carbide tools, inserts, and workpiece materials.
• Experience in troubleshooting machining issues such as poor surface finish, tool wear, chatter, burr formation, and dimensional inaccuracies.
• Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits, tool trials, and technical support activities. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CAD/CAM software are an added advantage.
