Job summary

Orange in India is seeking an experienced network professional to join our backbone support team in Gurgaon. You will provide next-level technical assistance to backbone supervision centers and help resolve proactive and reactive network issues, contributing to customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting IP-MPLS, BGP4, IS-IS/OSPF, and SDN/SDWAN concepts, with opportunities for growth in a global, diverse environment.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent in Computer/Telecommunications/Networking.
• Strong knowledge of IP-MPLS, BGP4, IS-IS, OSPF, and SDN/SDWAN concepts.
• Hands-on troubleshooting with multiple listed network technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide next level technical support to backbone supervision centers.
• Resolve low to medium complex proactive backbone network problems.
• Assist reactive incidents raised by global customer service centers and improve customer satisfaction.

About you

knowledge and abilities

Excellent knowledge of communication standards and OSI/commercial protocols as follows:Network Technologies – IP-MPLS, ISP (Open Transit) Netowrk, IMN Services , IS-IS, OSPF, BGP4, M-BGP, U-NNI, Type A/B/C NNI,Basic understanding of SDWAN, SDN network and Segment RoutingProfessioanl level knowledge and hands on troubleshooting experience on more than one of the following technologies:CISCO ASR/IOS Routers /,Cisco Catalyst SwitchesJuniper Routers NSO and similar nerowrk orchestration toolsNetwork & Service Provisioning of mpls VPN, IPsec, GRE and other IP services over internet/mplsExcellent Analytical and trouble-shooting skillsGood understanding of Telecom Service providers Networks and Services

education, qualifications, and certificationsUniversity degree or equivalent experience (Computer or Telecommunications or Networking)
