Job summary

Danfoss in Chennai, India, seeks an Engineer – Application Development Center to ensure safe, efficient operation of facility infrastructure and utility systems. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering required.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in operations or maintenance engineering.
  • Hands-on experience working in an Ammonia Plant environment.
  • Knowledge of laboratory operations, measurement, and calibration requirements.
  • Good understanding of QEHS, IMS, and Vapour Compression Refrigeration Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor the Ammonia systems to ensure safe operations.
  • Support day-to-day facility and utility system activities.
  • Assist laboratory teams with equipment and infrastructure requirements.
  • Perform and support measurement, calibration, and maintenance activities.
  • Follow QEHS and IMS requirements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
