Job summary

Sweco India is seeking a Tekla Steel Modeller & Detailer for modelling and generating erection and shop drawings. You will work with international clients on industrial and commercial projects from Bengaluru.

Candidate should have 2–7 years of experience, Diploma/B.Tech in Civil Engineering, and strong Tekla knowledge with good English communication. AutoCAD basics are expected, with additional skills like Idea StatiCa a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.Tech. in Civil Engineering with at least 2 years of Tekla Structures experience.
• Solid Tekla proficiency and good AutoCAD knowledge.
• Experience on international projects; Finnish experience is a plus.
• Idea StatiCa knowledge is an added advantage.
• High achiever with growth potential and strong analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Study structural drawings, reference models, and project scope to understand requirements.
• Study Architectural and MEP drawings/models and coordinate accordingly.
• Create 3D steel models coordinating with multiple disciplines.
• Prepare 2D Erection and Shop drawings using Tekla Structures.
• Incorporate design changes and approvals into the project scope.
• Prepare RFIs related to projects.

Sweco India is hiring Structural Steel Modeller & Detailer.

We are looking for Tekla Steel Modeller & Detailer with experience in modelling, generation of Erection and shop drawing. The candidate will be working closely with various international clients on Industrial and Commercial projects.

Number of positions: 3

Experience: 2-7 years

Education- Diploma /B.Tech.(Civil Engineering)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Study and understand all the Structural drawings/ reference models/ contractual documents to learn the project scope of work and requirements.
• Study and understand Architectural and MEP drawings/models.
• Create 3D steel models coordinating with multiple disciplines.
• Preparation of structural 2D Erection and Shop drawing using Tekla Structures.
• Interpret and incorporate approval comments, design changes, and other revisions into the scope of the project.
• Preparation of RFI's related to projects.

Skills/experience required:

• Diploma / B. Tech. in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Tekla structures.
• Basic knowledge of Auto CAD is sound. Good knowledge of Tekla is a must.
• Experience in working on the international project. Finnish experience is an added advantage.
• Hand on experience in Idea StatiCA is an add on advantage.
• High achiever, with a desire for personal and professional growth.
• Strong analytical skills. FEM competence is considered as a benefit.
• Good and clear English communication.
