Job summary

Ideametrics Global Engineering is seeking a skilled individual to handle steel detailing projects from their office in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Candidates should have 1 to 1.5 years of experience and be proficient in Tekla Steel Detailing or Advance Steel software.

The role includes preparing detailed drawings and managing delivery schedules while ensuring quality and timely project completion. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.

Compensation will be competitive, based on experience.

Qualifications

• 1 to 1.5 years of experience in structural steel industry preferred.
• Must have hands-on experience with Tekla Steel Detailing or Advance Steel.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Work on steel detailing, connections & marking plans.
• Check client's drawings and manage model controls.
• Prepare detail, erection, and GA drawings.

Job description

Diploma in Mechanical, BE/BTech Mechanical , ME/MTech Mechanical.

Experience:

• 1 to 1.5 years of experience.
• Overall experience working in the structural steel industry is preferred.
• Experience must be using Tekla Steel Detailing or Advance Steel software.

Technical Skills Required:

• Hands‑on experience with Tekla Steel Detailing or Advance Steel software.
• Steel detailing, custom connection applications, connections & marking plans.
• Modelling with respect to structural drawings & architectural drawings.
• Experience with client’s drawings, geometry of structures, model management, revision controls, and other trades.
• Knowledge of template creation.

• Team player with a proactive approach.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deliveries on time.
• Self‑motivated to manage, coordinate and facilitate multiple initiatives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Willingness to work extended hours to ensure timely deliveries.
• Responsibility for the project along with the team leader, completing projects within target dates while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities include:

• Working on steel detailing, custom connection applications, connections & marking plans.
• Checking client’s drawings, geometry of structures, model management, revision controls, and other trades.
• Preparing detail drawings, erection drawings, GA drawings, and managing delivery schedules.
• Executing detailing projects and studying structural drawings.
• Modelling with respect to structural and architectural drawings as necessary.
• Template editing and preparing custom components.
• Handling projects independently if required.
• Preparing drawings, editing, GA creation, TQ / RFI preparation, and managing delivery schedules.
• Working on secondary steel detailing, custom connection applications, connections & marking plans.
