Job summary

Vitality Healthcare is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to assist surgeons and nursing staff during endoscopic procedures. You will prepare the room and equipment, maintain sterile instruments, monitor patient readiness, and ensure smooth operation of the endoscopy unit.

Responsibilities include preparing the room, sterilizing scopes, assisting during procedures, and maintaining logs and safety protocols in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in endoscopy-related field is required.
• Familiarity with endoscopic instruments and sterilization procedures.
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare endoscopy room and equipment before procedures.
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopes and accessories per infection control.
• Assist physicians during procedures such as upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP.
• Check monitors, scopes, light sources, and suction systems for functionality.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures.
• Monitor and restock consumables and supplies.
• Maintain procedure records and equipment logs.
• Follow biomedical waste management and hospital safety guidelines.
• Support patient transport and post-procedure room turnover.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare endoscopy room and equipment before procedures
