Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks an experienced DSP/processor verification engineer to contribute to emulation and silicon validation.

You will work with FPGA prototyping, Veloce, Palladium and emulation tools, develop tests, Python/TCL scripts, and analyze performance across complex DSP/processor cores.

Required: engineering degree with 6–10 years in systems engineering or related field, strong debugging and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in processor/ASIC performance verification
• Experience in micro-architecture validation for modern high-performance, low power processors
• Experience in writing tests and building infrastructure that tests performance of modern processors
• Experience in application performance analysis
• Programming/Scripting Skills — C, C++, Perl, Python, Shell, Makefile

General Summary:

Job Summary:

• 6-10 years of experience in Emulation of complex Qualcomm propriety DSP IP
• DSP design team is responsible for delivering high-performance DSP cores which are at the heart of Qualcomm's multi-tier SoC roadmap targeted for mobile space

Job Responsibilities:

• Work in emulation and silicon environments
• Prior experience with Emulation Platforms (FPGA Prototyping, Veloce, Palladium)
• Familiarity with emulation tools (Synthesis, Place and Route, Constraints, Clocking) and System Debug (Waveform generation and Content Debug support)

Skillset/Experience:

• Should have excellent inter-personal, communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced exciting environment

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
