Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking an experienced Emulation/FPGA Prototyping Engineer to join the Hyderabad team. You will build, validate, and debug complex SoC/IP prototypes using emulation platforms and FPGA prototypes, enabling high-quality verification flows.

The role requires hands-on experience with Cadence Palladium, Synopsys ZeBu or Mentor Veloce, and proficiency in RTL design (Verilog/SystemVerilog) plus knowledge of PCIe, DDR, and AMBA interfaces.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Emulation and FPGA Prototyping.
• Familiarity with high-speed protocols PCIe, UFS, USB, EMAC.
• DDR protocols and memory subsystem integration.
• I2C, SPI, UART, SPMI, RFFE low-speed protocols.
• AMBA APB/AHB/AXI.
• RTL design and integration in Verilog/SystemVerilog.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain FPGA-based prototypes and emulation environments for SoC/IP verification.
• Integrate and validate high-speed interfaces on emulation/FPGA platforms.
• Collaborate with design and verification teams to ensure functional correctness and performance.
• Debug hardware/software issues and provide timely solutions.
• Optimize emulation flows for faster turnaround and improved coverage.
