Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a storage specialist with hands-on experience in DMX/VMAX provisioning and SYMCLI. The role covers local and remote replication using Time Finder and SRDF/A, along with Veritas DMP, VxVM, and Powerpath to ensure optimal storage performance.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, zoning, and capacity management, with exposure to Unisphere/Navisphere and related replication tools to support enterprise storage operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on storage provisioning experience with DMX/VMAX.
• Experience in LUN provisioning and zoning.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in storage environments.
• Familiarity with Veritas suite and replication tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provision DMX/VMAX storage using SYMCLI.
• Perform local and remote replication tasks (Time Finder, SRDF/A).
• Troubleshoot storage infrastructure issues and optimize configurations.
• Manage capacity and performance of storage arrays and related software.

Job description

1. Hands-on Experience on DMX and VMAX Storage Provisioning using SYMCLI, Local Replication using Time Finder and Remote Replication using SRDF/A/S, Thin Provisioning.2. In Depth hands-on Experience in troubleshooting

3. Hands-on Experience Multipath software Veritas DMP (Use of ASL etc.) Veritas Volume Manager and Solaris Disk suite MSA1000/3000's & Sun 6140's.

4. In depth knowledge in Powerpath software.

5. SAN Switch zoning and configuration

6. Clarion: Storage Allocation using Unisphere and Navisphere, Mirrorview, Snapview and Sancopy.

7. Handling Capacity and Performance management.
