Excelfore ( Sirius Embedded Software ) in Pune is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to advance automation for embedded device testing and backend validation. You will implement reusable test scripts, work with Python-based tools, and help ensure robust software releases across platforms.

Ideal candidates will have 4–6 years of experience, strong Linux/Windows testing skills, and hands-on exposure to RESTful APIs, Selenium, and automation frameworks.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Should have good hands-on Knowledge on Linux and Windows test and development environment
• Must have working experience on any of the Python test framework tools, including Major python module such as pytest, requests, paramiko.etc
• Perform complex system tests on Embedded devices and server backend.
• Create test scripts and Troubleshoot automation code issues
• Must have Experience in the Design and development of the automation framework
• Knowledge on RESTful APIs and selenium
• Coordinate with the development team, Perform A/B testing
• Knowledge on CI/CD Code packaging, release, deployment and test
• Interacting with customers/clients to solve the various issues they face and updating the internal team on the situation

GOOD TO HAVE:

• Good to have knowledge on Java script/ selenium/ python.
• Linux system programming in C/C++ (POSIX APIs, sockets, threads, IPC)
• Embedded Linux debugging (gdb/gdbserver, strace, core dumps, log analysis)
• Cross-compilation and build systems (Make/CMake; Yocto/Buildroot basics)
• Automotive Vehicle Validation & Verification (V&V) for ECUs/TCU/HU
• Network & diagnostics validation (CAN/CAN FD, UDS, DTC, OBD-II; DoIP basics)
• Flashing/OTA validation (upgrade/downgrade, rollback, ignition cycle scenarios, failure recovery)
• Test planning & execution (test strategy, test cases, regression, traceability, defect tracking)
• Lab/vehicle testing tools (CANoe/CANalyzer or SocketCAN, Wireshark, UART/SSH)

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4-6 Years of experience in Test Automation
• BE in EEE / ECE / IT
• Masters degree is plus
• Experience in Automotive domain is plus
• Strong organisational skills in managing multiple tasks with tight deadlines
• Ability to work accurately and autonomously Proficient in the English language is a mandatory requirement; any other language is a plus
