Job summary

TYZER TECHNOLOGIES is seeking a hardware test engineer to execute comprehensive test plans for automotive ECUs, sensors, and control modules. You will perform bench and in-vehicle validation using oscilloscopes, CAN/LIN testers, and power analyzers, while triaging defects with design teams.

You will operate environmental chambers to mimic real-world vehicle conditions, and automate tests with Python or LabVIEW to improve coverage and regression efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive hardware/test environments.
• Proficient in scripting for test automation (Python/LabVIEW).
• Ability to log, reproduce, and triage hardware defects with root-cause analysis.
• Familiarity with environmental/benchtop validation and ISO 26262/IATF 16949 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Execute test plans for automotive ECUs, sensors, and control modules across environmental, electrical, and functional test scenarios.
• Perform bench-level and in-vehicle hardware validation using scopes, meters, CAN/LIN testers, and power analyzers.
• Log, reproduce, and triage hardware defects; collaborate with design and firmware teams to resolve root causes.
• Configure and operate environmental chambers (thermal, vibration, humidity) to simulate real-world vehicle operating conditions.
• Automate test sequences using Python or LabVIEW scripts to enhance test coverage, repeatability, and regression efficiency.
• Generate test reports aligned with ISO 26262, IATF 16949, and OEM-specific compliance requirements.
