Job summary

Coforge is seeking an Embedded Tester in Bangalore with 4-6 years of experience in embedded systems. The role requires hands-on work with JTAG, CANoe, Python, CAPL scripts and CIM/CD pipelines. You will automate tests, validate MCU interfaces, and ensure robust testing of communication over WiFi/Bluetooth/CAN/TCP-IP.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of SW Validation experience in embedded systems.
• Experience with debugging tools, JTAG and oscilloscopes.
• Familiarity with CANoe and J1939/CAN standards.
• Automation scripting using Python and CAPL is mandatory.
• Understanding MCU hardware interfaces for PCBs and logs.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and test automation for embedded systems.
• Develop and execute automated test cases using Python and CAPL.
• Work with JTAG, oscilloscopes, and debugging tools to validate hardware.

Job description:

Experience in Manual and Test Automation

1. 4 - 6 years of SW Validation experience embedded systems. [Mandatory]
2. Good knowledge in using debuggers, JTAG and oscilloscopes, and function generators on embedded systems
3. Good understanding of J1939/CAN standard and usage of CANoe [Mandatory]
4. Good knowledge in using development tools i.e., Bitbucket, GitHub, JIRA, etc.
5. Responsible for automating the test case using python, CAPL scripts [Mandatory]
6. Application testing with good understanding of the Microcontroller HW interfaces to work with PCBs and capture logs [Mandatory].
7. Hands-on experience in testing communication with WiFi / BT / CAN / TCP/IP Sockets, Performance benchmarking, and domain knowledge on automotive testing.
8. Exposure to test automation is added advantage.
9. Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
10. Good communication skills to work with cross-functional team
