Job summary

Umanist Staffing invites a Software Tester - Embedded Systems in Bengaluru for an immediate joiner. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Bengaluru with a strong emphasis on embedded software validation, manual testing, and test automation using Python and CAPL scripts.

You will work with CANoe and CAN/J1939 standards, test PCBs, and analyze logs, while collaborating with hardware and software teams to ensure robust system performance. Immediate joining is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software validation experience in embedded systems.
• Strong experience in Manual Testing and Test Automation.
• Good hands-on experience with debuggers, JTAG, oscilloscopes and function generators.
• Strong understanding of J1939 / CAN standards.
• Hands-on experience with CANoe.
• Experience automating test cases using Python and CAPL scripts.
• Application testing with strong understanding of Microcontroller hardware interfaces.
• Experience working with PCBs and capturing/analyzing logs.
• Hands-on experience testing communication interfaces such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, CAN, TCP/IP Sockets.
• Experience with performance benchmarking.
• Good understanding of Automotive Testing.
• Experience with development/collaboration tools such as Bitbucket, GitHub and JIRA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Engineering or a related field.
