- Implement and refine motor control algorithms such as FOC (Field-Oriented Control), SVPWM, torque control, and other control techniques.
- Develop real?time control loops for BLDC, PMSM, or induction motors.
- Integrate software with microcontrollers, DSPs, and power electronics modules.
- Design modular, scalable software architecture for motor control systems.
- Integrate peripherals such as ADCs, PWMs, timers, CAN, SPI, I2C, UART.
- Work closely with hardware engineers for board bring?up and troubleshooting.
- Create technical documentation including design specifications, test plans, and release notes.
- Ensure compliance with automotive or industrial standards (e.g., ISO 26262, MISRA C, IEC 61508).
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Embed ? Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 7–10 years experience in embedded software development.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++, embedded RTOS, and real?time programming.
- Experience with motor control algorithms (FOC, SVPWM, PID tuning).
- Hands?on experience with ARM Cortex?M, TI C2000, NXP, or similar MCUs/DSPs.
- Proficient with debugging tools (JTAG/SWD, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
- Deep understanding of electric motors (BLDC, PMSM, Induction) and power electronics.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 Functional Safety and experience designing ASIL C/D compliant algorithms.
- Experience with model-based design (e.g. MATLAB/Simulink).
