Job summary

CIEL HR is looking for a skilled embedded software developer in Khordha, India, to design and maintain software for high-speed drone flight control systems. Candidates should have experience in developing flight control algorithms and optimizing code for various sensors.

The role requires ensuring system reliability and performing extensive testing to debug complex hardware issues. Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) is desirable.

Job description

Responsibilities

• 1. Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for high-speed drone flight control systems
• 2. Implement and optimize flight control algorithms, navigation logic, and autonomous mission execution
• 3. Develop low-level drivers and middleware for IMU, GPS, magnetometer, pressure sensors, Radar, cameras, and other sensors
• 4. Motors, ESCs, and communication interfaces
• 5. Implement sensor fusion algorithms (e.g., Kalman filters) for state estimation
• 6. Ensure system reliability, fault tolerance, and safety compliance
• 7. Perform unit testing, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), and flight testing
• 8. Debug complex issues on embedded hardware using JTAG, logic analyzers, and simulation tools
• 9. Optimize code for performance, memory, and power efficiency
• 10. Prepare technical documentation and contribute to design reviews
• 11. Working experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) is desirable
