Job summary

psyc-defence is seeking an experienced Firmware Engineer to craft reliable embedded software for drone and robotics platforms. You will work closely with hardware engineers to build low-level firmware, drivers, communication stacks, and applications on microcontrollers.

The ideal candidate brings strong Embedded C/C++ skills, RTOS experience, and familiarity with UART, SPI, I²C, CAN, USB, Ethernet, and BLE protocols. You will collaborate across hardware teams to ensure robust firmware delivery.

Job description

We are looking for a Firmware Engineer to develop reliable, efficient, and scalable embedded software for drone and robotics platforms. You will work closely with hardware engineers to develop low-level firmware, device drivers, communication stacks, and application software running on embedded microcontrollers.

The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in Embedded C/C++, experience with STM32, ESP32, or ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers, and a deep understanding of RTOS, interrupts, DMA, memory management, and peripheral drivers. Experience working with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I²C, CAN, USB, Ethernet, and BLE is highly desirable.
