Job summary

Alten seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to develop and integrate embedded software modules for our FCC platform on an eVTOL project. The role emphasizes Embedded C, RTOS, and rigorous testing to support verification and DO-178C DAL A certification deliverables.

The candidate will work under the software lead, produce technical documentation, and contribute to requirements, design, code, test, and peer reviews within a compliance-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on programming experience in Embedded C and RTOS-based systems.
• Experience with Git or SVN for version control and software baselines.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Instrumentation, Aerospace, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded software modules for the FCC platform using Embedded C.
• Implement software requirements and designs in an RTOS-based environment.
• Perform unit testing, software integration testing, debugging, and defect correction.
• Analyze issues, support root-cause investigation, and document resolutions.
• Participate in requirements, design, code, test, and peer reviews.
• Use version control and configuration management practices for software baselines and changes.
• Develop and integrate communication interfaces and device-level software as applicable.
• Prepare technical documentation and support verification and certification deliverables.

Embedded Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to develop and integrate embedded software modules for our FCC platform on an eVTOL project. This role demands expertise in Embedded C, RTOS environments, and thorough testing and debugging practices. Ideal candidates have a strong foundation in embedded systems and are capable of producing technical documentation to support verification and certification deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
