Job summary

Home Comfort Group is looking for a Senior Embedded Software Developer in India. You will be responsible for developing applications in C and Embedded C++ as required by embedded system specifications.

The ideal candidate should have at least 5+ years of experience in embedded systems, especially in developing microcontroller and processor-based products. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics is required.

Qualifications

• Typically 5+ years’ experience in embedded software development.
• Experience with microcontroller and processor-based product development.
• Strong coding skills in C and Embedded C++.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications in C and Embedded C++ based on embedded system requirements.
• Develop driver software for the Controller and processor.
• Conduct static code analysis and code reviews.

Education and Experience Required

Responsibilities

• Develop applications in C and Embedded C++ based on the embedded system requirements
• Development driver software for the Controller and processor.
• Understanding of the HVAC control system and process.
• Static code analysis, Code Review & SCM
• Version management.

Knowledge and Skills

• Extensive hands-on on experience on development of Microcontroller and Processor based product development skill.
• Experience with embedded systems and build tool chains.
• Expertise in building projects based on C/ C++.
• Coding and Debugging problem-solving capabilities with Good Analysis.
• Experience in building User Interfaces – Command line, Web and GUI.
• Experience with Unit Testing Frameworks in python.
• Exposure to Defect Tracking tools like JIRA and Code inspection using Gerrit.
• Extensive hands-on on object-oriented C++ development is added advantage
• Ability to debug and write new driver and Operating system concepts.
