Job summary

L&T Technology Services invites an experienced Embedded Test Engineer to join our embedded software testing and automation team. The role focuses on HVAC systems, mobile app validation, test strategy development, and delivering high-quality software in CI/CD environments.

You will design and execute manual and automated tests, create test plans and reports, and work with developers to validate fixes. Proficiency with Robot Framework, Playwright, and Git/SVN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in embedded software testing and system validation.
• Hands-on with automation frameworks such as Robot Framework and Playwright.
• Experience creating Test Plans, Test Specifications, Test Reports and Automated Test Suites.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, strategies, and specifications based on product requirements.
• Execute manual and automated test cases for embedded software and system validation.
• Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot defects with root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with development teams to validate fixes and ensure quality.

Role Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Embedded Test Engineer with expertise in embedded software testing, test automation, HVAC systems, and mobile application validation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing test strategies, executing manual and automated tests, debugging complex issues, and ensuring high-quality software delivery in a CI/CD environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and test specifications based on product requirements.
• Execute manual and automated test cases for embedded software and system-level validation.
• Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot software defects through detailed root cause analysis.
• Work closely with development teams to validate fixes and ensure product quality.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Perform end-to-end validation of embedded systems, mobile applications, and HVAC control functionalities.
• Contribute to continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure test coverage, traceability, and compliance with quality standards.

Certifications

• ISTQB Advanced Level Certification (Preferred).

Educational Qualification

• BE/BTech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related disciplines.
